(9,298 posts)writing negative comments and rating the book "1" over at Amazon are not going to like this. Of course, none of them have read the book.

(5,810 posts)Just what, pray tell, does she think a Professor of Religion studies in preparation for his or her job??? This woman should never have been allowed to interview this man as she made a perfect ass out of herself. She could have had a pretty interesting interview but she was clearly MORE interested in getting those remarks in that criticized the man's work than in hearing anything he had to say. He spent MOST of that interview schooling that dumb ass on his credentials and background as an academic. She should have already been familiar with that and other than a brief intro she should have focused her interview on the contents of the book and not his motivation for writing it.
She gave away the fact that she had not read it when she began the interview acting as if it was put down of Jesus and Christianity in general. And worse, she came across as if this man had no authority to write about a religion that he does not practice.
