Here in the bible belt, this place is infested with mean nasty SOB's who claim to be "good christians". I've known lots them over the years and I came to learn why they are the way they are. In their eyes, being good/kind hearted/haing empathy for others less fortunate isn't what makes one a good christian: It's the tenacity in the utter faith and belief of their diety that does.

I get to read 'God given right to own guns' in my local paper on a regular basis. I'm still searching for that 11th commandment.

And in Alabama too!

Some people will never get the difference between being Christian and being
Christ-like.

Republicans are the theocratic Christian party. That is what they are all about. If one takes the trouble to actually listen to those douche bags, one would realize the undeniable facts.

The United States has a secular Constitution. The Republicans nearly universally claim that the USA is a Christian Country.

I will leave those two facts to mingle in ones brain. And then consider what the Hell Republicans have brought forth.

Fuck anybody who does not see this.

Owning weapons? Luke 22 35 -38

22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

Money begets money (if you are Christian) - Then Benny Hinn and his Prosperity Gospel are your source.

Sure it's cherry picking but that is what all followers of the Bible do to an extent.

I know it's hard to resist for some but it's a wasted effort.
