Michael Vick, the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, said that the organization has forgiven Riley Cooper for making a racist remark.
I forgave him, said Vick, according to USA Today.
What if your son or daughter made a mistake of this factor? How would you want people to perceive it? Ive been there before, Vick said.
He added: Him being my brother, knowing him for so long, its hard to defend him saying that. At the same, time, it happened. We talked about it man to man, one on one. We just know that we have to some way move on. Its a very delicate situation. But we all understand. Somehow we all have to find a way to get past it. Thats maturity in itself.
A video of Cooper surfaced this week of him saying: I will jump that fence and fight every (N-word) here, bro.

Though, I'll be told to leave it be by some. A jury spoke, whatever justice the court handed out (right or wrong) was served, and he should be allowed to go forth without day.
Some things are just more convenient than others I guess.
