"The national lack of ability to reason, respect, and reach a working compromise will mean the continued devolution of American society. Encouraged and abetted by our 2 party system on both sides.
The Republicans and Democrats demonizing each other has given us the tactics of discourse as practiced by our "leaders". Further, Congress's lack of solutions for our problems deepens their effect. And bares the greed and corruption that operates the machinery of federal government today.
A combination of resource depletion, environmental instability, violence, and governmental dysfunction, is writing the future we'll all (as a planet) have to face.
Too late for blame. Too late for ideology. Too late for money.
