Florida Ed. Commissioner to resign for changing Repub donor's charter school grade.

He screws up in Indiana, and in January he turns up in Florida. Special thanks should go to the FL Dem legislators who called for his removal.

TALLAHASSEE -- Education Commissioner Tony Bennett is expected to resign today over a school grading scandal, wire services are reporting.

Bennett, who has only been on the job in Florida since January, previously served as the head education official in Indiana, but lost reelection this past year. Earlier this week, the AP reported that Bennett had manipulated school grades to benefit a charter operation run by a prominent Republican donor.

Bennett has recently been revamping Florida's school grades program.
