Armed ("to the teeth") agents raid animal shelter for baby deer

http://www.wisn.com/news/armed-agents-raid-animal-shelter-for-baby-deer/-/9373668/21272108/-/item/0/-/13d8x2mz/-/index.html

Two weeks ago, Schulze was working in the barn at the Society of St. Francis on the Kenosha-Illinois border when a swarm of squad cars arrived and officers unloaded with a search warrant.

&quot There were) nine DNR agents and four deputy sheriffs, and they were all armed to the teeth," Schulze said.

The focus of their search was a baby fawn brought there by an Illinois family worried she had been abandoned by her mother.

Before 9/11 it looked as if 90% of cops out there looked like they'd roll a mile if you pushed them over. Suddenly they all look like Greek gods and full of rages.

Can't tell me they aren't being supplied.

They fucking killed her.

She was scheduled to be taken to a wildlife rehabilitation center the next day, and those motherfucking goddam useless waste of life scumbag pig-bastards killed her.

What the goddam fuck is wrong with people? WHAT. THE. FUCK.

And who the fuck turned them in for keeping wildlife? It was a no-kill shelter. The fawn was abandoned. Some good-hearted person found her abandoned and took her to the no-kill shelter. The no-kill shelter provided temporary care and arranged for her to go to a licensed wildlife rehab center and those goddam fucking pig-bastards show up the day before she's to be transported and fucking kill her.

I hate people. Fucking murderous pigs.

We had an incident here with a fawn, left it as per instructions from wildlife control, and by end of day it was gone.

The mothers often go off to hide and come back later.

We don't know the circumstances that made the people think it was abandoned, but once they took it, it was too late. And the shelter they took it to had nothing to do with their decision. The shelter simply took it in, provided temporary care while making arrangements to send it to a licensed wildlife center.

I don't believe it's a coincidence that the warden's killing team arrived the day before the fawn was scheduled to leave, either.

Incredibly that some heartless bastards would file a complaint with the warden anyway. However much of a grudge they may have against the shelter president for supposedly being rude when she won't adopt pets out to people who have "gotten rid of them" in the past, taking it out on an innocent fawn was nothing less than despicable.

What a bunch of vile, despicable low lifes.

The warden drafted an affidavit for the search warrant, complete with aerial photos in which he described getting himself into a position where he was able to see the fawn going in and out of the barn.

http://www.kenoshanews.com/news/bristol_animal_shelter_cited_for_state_regulatory_violations_471448129.html

The state has found a number of regulatory violations involving the St. Francis SPCA no-kill animal shelter in Bristol.

However, Cindy Schultz, of Mequon, the president of the organization, said Friday the findings of non-compliance in several areas of their inspection report involved “minor” issues, with all but a few of them corrected since the last inspector’s visit.

The remainder are in the process of being completed, Schultz said.

She said a series of unannounced inspections began sometime last year, after a complaint alleging unfit and unhealthy conditions for animals at the shelter was filed with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection — Animal Health Division.

Locating ‘dog records’

According to state records, in December, Cathy Anderson, an inspector from the latter agency, requested that Schultz send her veterinary records for two beagles kept at the shelter. Anderson also noted there were no “dog records” kept on site as required for any of the canines kept there. When she returned unannounced for a follow up inspection March 26, she still had not received the requested veterinary records and again found no dog records on site.

Dog records indicate the date a dog comes into and goes out of a shelter. They also document shots, vaccinations and other care-related information.

Schultz said Friday the records have since been placed on site, that if they aren’t there when an inspector shows up, it’s because she has taken them to her home — which she lists as her business address — in order to update the information.

The deer didn't comply.

The deer was coming right for them.

You can't judge them if you're not a police officer.
