I'm almost 99% sure someone is trying to scam me...

They keeps saying they tried to deliver a package but they couldn't.

Company is called "DHL."

1. DHL is a major shipping company

but that doesn't mean someone isn't trying to scam you by using their name

2. Ask them for the tracking number and sender.

Then, go to the DHL site and track the package.

3. If it's an email, it's a scam. If it's a note on your door, it's probably real.

4. Don't click on anything - there is a scam where you get a virus if you click to see

what they are trying to deliver. Google DHL scam.
DHL is a legitimate company, but the scammer is just using their name.

5. Are they telling you this by email?

If it is an email attempting to get you to click on a link or open a file, then ignore it.

If they left a delivery notice at your address, then give them a call.

DHL is a delivery company (owned by Deutsche Post) which is a leading international courier service.

However, if you are getting an email with an attached .zip file, and the message looks like this:

7. I was getting a lot of those

in my e-mail for awhile, but mine said UPS and I was already aware of the scam. Now I get a bunch of scam e-mails from my old facebook account using my friends list.

Their machines are at work, all over the place.

this one is a medical something scam. Ifthat is what you have, don't accept it, but calling the shipper and asking who sent it, is worth the effort.
