False-flag intercept pending...all due to the excellent eavesdropping efforts of the NSA, we will be told.

Mark my words.

The reason it is being announced is because when traveling overseas you usually register at the US embassy so they can keep a count of Americans they may need to assist in case of emergency. So they are letting travelers know these embassies will be closed.

Those are state specific and specific to conditions in a country.

The few I panned through were not so broad and ill defined as the current one. Probably why few heard if the others.

kept us safe and we should be thankful, sit the fuck down, and shut the fuck up about vacuum cleaner type surveillance.

The terror threat prompting the U.S. government to close nearly two dozen embassies and consulates Sunday is the most specific, credible threat information in years, CBS News senior correspondent John Miller reports.

Intelligence officers have reporting from a reliable source that a major plot is under way and that the team to carry it out has been selected and is in place, Miller reports.

The threat information has been described as the most specific and credible since the foiled plot to blow up British planes en route to the United States in 2006, Miller reports. The specificity ends there.

What authorities don't have is the date, the timing or the target of the attack, which is why they have taken such an approach to warning potential targets, Miller reports.

Isn't it funny that "the most specific and credible" information we've had in YEARS lacks when, where, or what?

How about paranoid levels of CT. Sometimes a warning is just a warning.

The middle east is subject to terror attack, at a greater rate than the US is. There are real terrorists there. I wouldn't be so comfortable just always dismissing it if I were you.

These folks have their responses typed out in their heads before they even know what the topic is. Hilarious.
