When it rains and hails and the wind blows ---

Tornadoes and funnel clouds that were reported in multiple areas of Weld County, including west Greeley, apparently did not touch down or cause serious damage. But golf ball size hail was reported in different areas of Greeley and Weld. It was serious enough to break windows, both in homes and cars, tear apart siding on homes, and even put holes in wooden fences.

It rained and blew like a MF'er down here in SE Denver. Nearly an hour of hard rain and damaging winds. I had friends in Erie that lost 2 trees and they had localized flooding. We had transformers blow due to the combo of very heavy winds and sheet-like rains.
Stay tuned at tomorrow might be an active weather day as well - be safe!
