On the post-KURTZ Reliable Sources Thom HARTMANN said the LIMBOsevic boycotts hurt Progressive radio

The topic was the Cumulus-Premiere shifting of LIMBOsevic-HANNITY, the panel being HARTMANN, MEDVED, and the boss of Talkers magazine. First of all, none of them knew much, not what it all meant, whether the Wingnut hegemony had begun to crumble, whether advertising was abandoning Wingnuttiness.

But HARTMANN said, while he knows zilch about the advertising numbers for the wingnuts, he knows that the David BROCK boycott of LIMBOsevic had hurt Progressive shows, that significant advertisers had put a curse on both houses and opted to get out of all politically controversial shows, which definitely hurt Progressive shows. Hmmm.

I occasionally listen to Ed's show and have been struck by the fact that his advertisers are often the same ones who are sponsoring the conservative shows. I can easily see ad firms saying we don't want our ads on any talk radio show to prevent problems.
