American Cops Don't Belong in Canada

?6

In Harper's relatively short seven years running the country, we have seen the Americanization of our parliamentary democracy. We have an enemies list, fact free attack ads, and constant negativity and division.

We've also seen the Americanization of our justice system where facts and evidence are replaced by "gut feelings", and an obsession with retribution.

Now we are now witnessing the Americanization of our law enforcement. Armed American police officers will now operate on Canadian soil.

Bit by bit, agreement by agreement, Canada is giving away more and more in the name of trade. To Conservatives, none of this is a threat to our sovereignty, as if the very act of stating so makes it so.

This whole global thing is way out of hand.

It's right near the air freight section of the airport.

They also have a base in Alamagordo NM...

It's called the German Air Force Flying Training Center (GAFFTC) and it is at Holloman AFB.

RAF has a segment of Nellis, or used to. And NORAD is a joint US/Canadian site.

Aside from the usual training opportunities (the academies, war colleges and postgraduate schools), there are also exchange billets available--everything from teaching to flying and ship driving and you name it.

Also, foreign services will sometimes station logistical/procurement officers over this way, to buy stuff for their militaries.

I was thinking about something more pedestrian, like being a division officer on an aircraft carrier, flying with a USMC squadron, or working as a company officer at OCS.

Or will American laws apply so that the cops, at most, will be given paid time off?

What if the American cops plant drugs on Canadians? Or determine that they "resisted arrest" and needed to be shot?

is hilarious.

He's from the Boston area, and John Candy is from Canada - but they both make fun of their neighbors well.

will be an AU, american union consisting of canada, us, mexico, maybe central america and a SAU south american union too, but in doubt. There will be the EU of course and a SAU sino-aisan union. There will be a union of african states, UAS if you will. Maybe a UASII, union of arab states or maybe middle eastern countries and africa will be one big union.. They will divide the world up into spheres of influence and the Corporation will freely trade and control, for profit, all. Us, the citizen? Toe the corporate-state line or end up in one of the many for profit prisons, working for the man and making him profit. Just a scenario. Who know where this mess will end up.

They'll probably be called Eastasia, Eurasia, and Ocenania, with Africa being the disputed area.
