Video of women in Texas being strip searched, fingers up both holes because cop said he smelled pot

I just watched this and I am appalled!!~! Do they ever shove a finger up a man's ass on the side of the road?

"2 More Women Pulled Over, Internally Probed On Public Road By TX Troopers (VIDEO)
August 4, 2013 | Filed under: Feminism,Headliner,Headlines,Law Enforcement,Police State,Racial Issues,Women's Issues | Posted by: Leslie Salzillo

What amazes me about this story, is not only is this an illegal, sexually-violating police search, but that it happened on a public road, for anyone driving by to see. These two women were pulled over, for allegedly throwing a cigarette out of the car window. They were given full body internal searches.

Gloves were not changed between probes, nor were they changed between women. Under Texas law, this is considered sexual assaults/rape.

Texas Penal Code Sec. 22.011. SEXUAL ASSAULT. (a) A person commits an offense if the person: (1) intentionally or knowingly: (A) causes the penetration of the anus or sexual organ of another person by any means, without that person’s consent;

And after all of that - no ticket was issued. The incident happened last December and the women are now filing suit.

This is not the first time a search like this has taken place, reported, or become news. Here is the video of another incident where two women are searched and internally probed on the side of the road. One woman yells in pain as the female trooper shoved her hand inside the woman. In this ‘search’ the troopers did not bother to check the women’s socks/shoes. In both videos, you will hear women laughing a bit during the probes. I assure you they do not find this funny – those are nervous reactions to the humiliation and shock they are experiencing. I admire them for coming forward with their stories.

Police do strip search on the side of the road for drugs of two women

As you might be aware, there are Milwaukee cops who have committed illegal and unconstitutional cavity searches on the streets of Milwaukee. All in the name of the War on Drugs, of course. Well, this isn't much of a surprise, there are police doing this in other parts of the U.S. A male Texas state trooper, David Farrell, pulled over Angel and Ashley Dobbs, an aunt and niece.

Farrell pulled them over because he stated they threw cigarette butts from their car. He claimed he smelled marijuana in the car. After doing a search of the car he radioed for Trooper Kelley Helleson, a female trooper who performed an anal/vagina cavity of the two Dobbs. Supposedly they were hiding marijuana in that part of their body. This was done on the side of the road. There are so many things wrong with this. First of all, this cop might have lied about smelling marijuana, especially considering none was found.
Another product of our failed and miserable war on drugs
Texas stripsearch on side of road, all in war on drugs

Two, while it is very questionable should police have the ability to search a car based on an allegedly smelling marijuana, it is unquestionable that does not give the ability to perform the kind of search that Helleson did. There was no medical professional who did the search, it was did in public, they weren't under arrest, there was no warrant or order by a judge. Sheesh, did these cops even take a class on Constitutional law at the Police Academy? Now, to other abuses of police authority.

Undercover police often engage in a practice of targeting some protestor for some reason (such as during the Occupy protests) and instead of making an arrest at the scene, jumping out of a car or a crowd and quickly dragging him or her away, with barely any badge shown. Sometimes, a badge isn't even shown. This also goes on in Great Britain, which has even greater civil rights abuses then in the U.S. Now, how do we know as citizens that the person doing the dragging is even a cop in these circumstances? There shouldn't be scenes out of Chile's Pinochet where political opponents were commonly dragged off in broad daylight.

The two women who are suing after they were subjected to a humiliating and invasive cavity search on a Texas roadside on Memorial Day last year have spoken out about their ordeal.

Brandy Hamilton, 26, and Alexandria Randle, 24, told reporters how they were ordered out of their vehicle, not permitted to put on clothes to cover the bikinis they'd been wearing at the beach that day, and given cavity searches right by the side of the road.

The disturbing video of the event, which was caught on the dashcam, captures one of the women asking in disbelief, 'Are you serious?' when the officers tell her they're going to give her a cavity search.

Joe Campos Torres

Joe Campos Torres (December 20,1953 - May 5, 1977) was a 23-year-old Vietnam Veteran who was beaten by several Houston police officers and subsequently died. His death sparked protests and the outcome of the trial was met with rioting.

Incident

Torres had been arrested at a Houston bar for disorderly conduct. Six police officers took Torres to a spot called “The Hole” next to Buffalo Bayou and beat him.[1]

The officers then took Torres to the city jail, who refused to process him due to his injuries. They were ordered to take him to Ben Taub General Hospital, but instead of doing so, the officers brought him back to the banks of Buffalo Bayou and pushed him into the water. Torres’ body was found two days later.
Trial and aftermath

Officers Terry Denson and Steven Orlando were tried on state murder charges. They were convicted of negligent homicide and received one year of probation and a $1 fine.[2] Denson, Orlando and Officer Joseph Janish were later convicted of federal civil rights violations in 1978, and served nine months in prison.

Those sentences sparked riots in Moody Park, on the 1st anniversary of his death

10. That cop put a finger up her ass then without changing gloves

used the same hand and put a finger up her vagina. If that wasn't bad enough she still didn't change gloves and did the same thing to the next lady.

My God I would have been arrested for assault. There is noway I would have been so cooperative with them.

13. I think there were two cases.

This one from late last year in north Texas. And another one this spring south of Houston where the two young women were wearing bathing suits.

I think the case in north Texas got settled with the victims getting big checks, and the troopers facing jail.

Don't think the one from this spring has been finalized yet.

"After the story was published, the Department of Public Safety terminated Helleson and she was later indicted on two counts of sexual assault and two counts of official oppression.

Trooper Farrell remains suspended with pay and has been indicted on a theft charge, according to the DPS."
