1. A woman I went to school with and her husband both lost their jobs

and blame Obama. Her husbands saw mill was bought out by another company. They eliminated an entire shift and wouldn't find a spot for him. Her grain terminal job was cut, I don't know the details. Both lost their jobs very shortly after Obama took office. I know none of his policies that could have caused what happened to them.

It's like the "Obama Lied and the Economy Died" bumper sticker I saw within Obama's first two years. It's what they want to believe.

Debts, of any kind, never become legal obligations of relatives (unless the relative specified or guaranteed they would cover the debt). If a debt collector ever tries to coerce you into paying a relative's debt, report him to the consumer protection agency in your state.

But you are right about it following you. Once you incur sudent loan debt, it is not dischargeable in bankruptcy.

The reason the democrats don't 'choke out the government' is because its a completely irresponsible thing to do.
