Freepers whining about are restriction for job applicants. This guy says he isn't eligible

and gives some details of the job posting.

Requirements Helpful attributes include an interest in working with radios, fiber optics, and transmission equipment; an ability to apply electronic principles and concepts; as well as a general understanding of math and physics. You must meet the following requirements to qualify: * High School Diploma or GED * Must be between the ages of 17 and 35 * Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards * Must meet citizenship requirements

He comes back and confirms it's the National Guard.

Thanks for all of your answers. Not sure what their high moral standards are nowadays but I’m sure that I meet whatever requirement they have in that area. Several of you guessed it was for the National Guard and you are right about that. Here’s what I’ve determined. I really don’t want to join the Army at my age now. However, every other private business that is hiring has the same unwritten rule, you have to be under 35 to get a job these days. I don’t care what they post about not discriminating about age they are doing it anyways.

It's discrimination! Has to be! If a 60+ Freeper isn't hired right on the spot, you know the deck is stacked!

And for this particular freep probably not his age keeping him out but that whole basic comprehension of math and physics thing.

Getting a job at age 50 plus is well nigh impossible in this economy. It just is.

gets me. If he had a buddy that would hire him over women or minorities no matter what, he wouldn't see anything wrong with that I'm sure.
