Yesterday on a cross country flight...

I sat next to a man who was reading a book called "Earth's Catastrophic Past". I had a funny feeling so I looked it up. Published by the Institute for Creation Research.

Yep, it's in the section dubbed "Earth Sciences".

OK, it's a free country. I can understand why somebody watches Fox News, after all, they do appeal to one's baser instincts. But to spend 60 bucks on a book that will leave you more ignorant after you read it than before, is a bit strange.
