Way worse than NSA fears 3: Idaho Medical Marijuana Advocates Return From Trip, Find Children Taken

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/29/idaho-medical-marijuana-advocates_n_3179958.html
Lindsey and Josh Rinehart and Sarah Caldwell, three of Idaho's most outspoken medical marijuana advocates, returned from a trip last week to find that their children had been turned over to Child Protective Services. They were quickly informed that authorities had raided the Rineharts' house, where the four boys had been left with a babysitter, on suspicion of marijuana trafficking, possession and injury to a child, the activists told KTVB last week.

their toddler taken by child protective services because they smoked pot after she went to bed. the child was murdered by her foster mother. Now this.

And to think we have a former pot head for President.

shame on this administration for this shit. It's contemptible.

Do please show where the Obama administration bears any responsibility for this.

You would do better to look toward the ultra-conservative Mormon-dominated political power structure in Idaho.

But being one to NEVER pass up a chance to attack Obama, your misplaced blaming comes as no big shock.

At the point where the Panhandle begins, Mormon influence wanes. Thanks to y'all in California sending us all your RWNJs, an act for which I stand eternally grateful, North Idaho is infested with Palin-style nonaffiliated fundamentalist Christians.

In South Idaho, tho, Mormonism remains strong. Between the Mormons in the South and the Palinites in the North, we're surrounded by Christian lunacy.

who are politically opposed to legalized marijuana or even just medical marijuana, and they use the DOJs and the DEAs resources to go after medical marijuana patients.

If the Feds were to lay off, the lower levels would do so as well.

It's one of the most reactionary places in the country when it comes to marijuana. The Rineharts have become medical marijuana refugees, fleeing to friendlier climes in Oregon.

It's a stretch to blame this on Obama, unlike, say, DEA raids on dispensaries and Justice Department prosecutions of medical marijuana providers.

And the CIA needs all that cash to do whatever it is they do without having to ask Congress for it. I wonder if there is any hope for this country or if it's at a point where people are going to start leaving for more democratic places.

They've now relocated to Medford, Oregon, in a state that recognizes medical marijuana.
