A-Rod is appealing his 200 game suspension.
That allows him to play out this season, which, at his age and with his health history, may well have been his last anyhow.
I hope MLB does what it threatened and bans him for life.

(13,392 posts)I've known as long as the people running the show can make money off a player, don't be surprised to see him back.
Maybe MLB has had enough finally? Maybe they can't really stop it? Someone will always find a new trick and convince these guys they can get away with it? It's worth millions to not get old. It's also a dead giveaway. Usually, 40 year old rich guys don't feel like working hard enough to stay on top.

(36,814 posts)They are in 4th place, 9.5 games back and probably won't even get a wild card spot. A-Rod's performance without the juice is lackluster and won't help them much. It just means they get to pay his outrageous salary that much longer.

I hope A-rod keeps sleeping with Madonna and stays in that Kabbalah cult of hers so they can pick his bones.
