Police say man locked technician inside telecommunications vault

A Verizon technician, working inside of an underground telecommunications vault, was forced to summon the police via 911 after a 71-year-old man closed the cover and piled stones on the lid, causing the worker to fear he might suffocate.
This occurred Monday in Westborough, Mass., which is a town over from where I live. According to a report in the MetroWest Daily News:

Police identified the suspect as Howard W. Cook, 71, of 12 Chestnut St., Westborough, and mediated the dispute, which began because Cook was upset that the Verizon worker parked on the grass at his business, Westboro Self Storage.
