Man ordered out of bed by 18 armed police for having a television remote

Armed police raided a couple’s house in the middle of the night following reports of a man with a gun… that turned out to be a TV remote control.

Keith Abrahams was dozing in bed when 18 officers stormed the room. The forklift truck driver said he was ‘absolutely terrified’.

He added: ‘I had only been sat in bed and dozed off. The next thing I know I’m being ordered out of bed at gunpoint.’

His partner, Michelle Malone, 46, had earlier suffered a panic attack and had called for a paramedic. While treating her, he mistakenly thought he had seen Mr Abrahams, 44, holding a firearm.

Once he had left the house in Hereford, he called police and a team – including ten armed officers – raided the property some time later that night.

The nitwit who called the cops without investigating to see what a sleeping man was actually holding and the cops with their guns pointed at the poor guy top the list.

This is the sort of garbage the Founding Fathers wanted us protected from.

The fishwrap that reported this is a sensationalistic rag on a par with the Daily Mail.

I've got a feeling that all cable co's, US and UK, use the same Chinese suppliers for hardware.
