Thoughts on the 2016 Presidential Contest

1. I agree. We should be focused on the 2014

elections. If (God forbid) we lose the Senate and the rethugs maintain control of the House electing a Democrat as President in 2016 won't do much except make us feel good for a few days.

2. we are focusing on voter registration and database building for 2014 GOTV

we will still get shellacked in 14 because this area is just that red. but we are slowly but surely nudging demographics along with out Hispanic outreach GOTV efforts.

3. Yep. The damage done to us by the rethug's

gerrymandering is incalculable. I read that only 90 or so of the House seats are in true contention between the two parties - all the rest are not disputed. The only threat to the others is a challenge from the far Right. Lovely.

4. If we didn't learn a lesson from the 2010 Election ...all is lost

EVERY ELECTION IS IMPORTANT...WE MUST VOTE LIKE OUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT...
