Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus defended his threat to pull Republican primary debates from NBC and CNN over planned Hillary Clinton specials, saying he has a right to pick moderators that “are interested in the future of the Republican Party,” which isn’t NBC.

Appearing on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Thursday, host Mika Brzezinski asked Priebus whether his willingness to come on the show demonstrates that he understands there’s a difference between NBC News and NBC Entertainment, which is planning a Clinton miniseries.

“But I’m not going to have you moderate the Republican debates in our primary, I mean there’s a difference,” Priebus said. “I have to choose moderators that are actually interested in the future of the Republican Party and our nominees. I mean, it’s just, it’s not going to be NBC if they continue to go forward with this miniseries.”

...isn't the Party Chair supposed to be an invisible person who shakes the trees for money and tweaks the Party rules and operating structure? Who decided that it was vital that he become the voice and face of the Republicans?

and he is a true ReTHUG.
The bigger issue here for me is to see who will defend the 1st amendment rights the way ReTHUGs defend their guns.
ReTHUGs must not be allowed to bully the press.

After all, the "left wing media" can't be trusted any more than what comes out of their clown candidates' mouths.

Moderators must be pro-ReTHUG. Funny how everyone is against them - maybe they stink and no one buys their bullshit.

Scott Walker, Jim Sensenbrenner, most of the Republican state legislators. Paul Ryan has a smooth variation of brazen. (I left out Ron Johnson because he is too clueless to be brazen.)

It's IS a Republican debate. Under similar circumstances, would the Democrats ask Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity to be the moderator of a Democratic debate?

I don't see the problem here -- other than his being too dopey to understand that there's a difference between the news and entertainment divisions at NBC.

bastards and who still have a working brain must watch and change their vote to Democrats only. The more exposure republicans get, the worst off they are. Sunshine disinfects, put republicans in the sun and watch them vanish.
