In hindsight, would it have been better if we had not pulled Snowden's passport...?

...while he was in Russia?

Would it have been easier to capture him or to put pressure on any other country that might have taken him in, other than Russia?

I have questioned that decision since it happened. Did they really think they could negotiate with Putin easier than any other leader?

Was Snowden getting stuck in Moscow airport all part of a plan or just coincidence?

Far too much has been made of Snowden and not near enough effort has been spent on taking a critical look at the NSA.
Do you remember Bushes remark about Osama bin Laden?
"I don't think about him much any more, frankly I don't care." Or something like that.
Snowden is where that attitude should apply.
Our administration only makes themselves look foolish in this obsession to "get Snowden".

Whatever damage Snowden may or may not have done to national security or to himself for that matter is past history. Done and gone.
The issue is with the NSA!
Their is a real need to re evaluate the balance between security and liberty!

Some people ARE addressing this. I fond these as of last week.

No doubt Ed Snowden will become a small part of American history. But it's now just that. History.

How do we proceed?
