This is what we've come to. Kind of sad.

Yesterday, I had some errands to run, errands which took me all over the region which ran into the lunch hour so I decided to stop into a nationally known wing place for wings, iced tea and some trivia. On the door there was sign which stated "No firearms or weapons allowed in this establishment."
Obviously, the place is located in a conceal/carry state. I just feel it is sad that any place even feels that it's necessary to post a sign like that, especially a place that serves alcohol. Hmmm...carrying a loaded weapon into a place where alcohol is served. Nope, no problem here. Except we've all seen bar fights. Add a loaded gun and it's scary to think about.
Thanks to the place for saying that weapons of any kind are not welcome. I bet it will help their business. I know I will be back.

Thus this sound policy.

Which wing place is this? I'd like to give them my business.

In Moline, IL. Normally I don't like that franchise because the food isn't all that good but they are taking preemptive steps to avoid trouble because Illinois hasn't implemented their law quite yet.
