would anyone under the age of.... I don't know, 35, have any idea who those two characters are? Or have there been more recent games that I am not aware of.

Edit - nm, they are mad magazine chars =) I read Cracked magazine when I was a kid...

My kids all read every issue. As do I . There is also an animated TV show.

They are also more political than ever. The shredding they laid on McCain and WolfBarbie was a wonder to behold...

when visiting my Mom (who had the Cartoon network on for a niece) and I tried to explain to her what it was (and it was interesting how they did it as "shorts" just like their strips)...

the Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Dr. Demento of the magazine world. "All the news that fits we print". It always cut to the chase in a manner that kids could understand, with enough double entendres for the adults, when other current events reporting got lost column inches of adjectives.

And yeah, I used to remember when it was 50 cents.

the same is probably true.

Obama will survive and the Democratic Party will too because the GOP has gone so much further off the rails, but this is certainly a black eye for the president, our party, and our democracy.
