and my running joke is, "What? You're not going to form a task force over this issue?" The ED, who I do not think much of, forms a task force whenever something comes up he does not want to act on or do.

Checks & Balances . " I was going to " is worse than " I should have " and resentfully acknowledging it's merits was a sign of the magnitude of that exposure .

I estimate 10-15% of the folks where I work do virtually nothing besides committee meetings.
