Another week, another $2 billion thrown away in Afghanistan

Imagine what would we could do if we spent that money rebuilding our cities. Detroit could use that money right about now, or that money could have been used to provide health care for all Americans. Why are blowing money trying to maintain a global empire when that same money can be used to fix problems here at home?

Sigh.... Well I guess the sun doesn't set on the American Empire.
