What looks like a backward R is the Cyrillic "ya", one of the ten vowels in the Cyrillic alphabet (five soft vowels, five hard vowels).

It isn't a fucking "R". And a "C" is the same thing as the Latin "S". And the "P" is the same as the Latin "R".

So, if you're going to make a Russian/Cold War equivalence, at least call it by its former name, CCCP, (which translates into Latin alphabet as SSSR) and translates into English as Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Of course, Russia is not CCCP. Not sure what they're about these days. I think they've found capitalism which has corrupted them, as it has a tendency to do.
Just like all systems when left unchecked.
