FWIW as to the NSA business, I am with Sen. Wyden

I am a very strong supporter of the president, I have opposed the PATRIOT ACT for about a decade. I don't know what the Senator thinks about Snowden (that is a different matter). I think he is a traitor.

I also despise the efforts of longtime Obama haters to make this their most recent final straw. Getcha a GOP President and see how it works out.

I give a shit about LGBT Americans (and Russians).

I give a shit about people with preexisting medical condition.

I give a shit about not turning over the executive branch of government to the likes of this dipshit"

Not everyone who disagrees with Obama on the surveillance state/Snowden "hates" Obama. Most everyone on this site voted for him based on his policies and his promises. Many are disappointed with him; many no longer trust him. But that disenchantment doesn't equal hatred. It is fallacious to say that people criticize him now simply because they are Obama haters.

I voted for him twice. I wasn't in his camp at the beginning. But I was proud to cast my votes for him. Now I feel betrayed. That's not hatred; it's regret for what might have been.

NSA trashed him during the primaries and started trashing him as Presiden the day he was sworn in.

They trash him using whatever bogus bullcrap the Republicans come up with.

They trash him with issues that are the responsibility of Congress.

There is also a huge swath of people who simply use the issue to advance their own agenda which has nothing to do with getting anything progressive done.

gratuitious venom that it reads like ignorant hate. They don't need to go around saying "I hate Obama" to get the freaking picture.

It comes off as stinky hate.. and you and everyone else can deny it until you're all red in the face but it doesn't change the stink.

"Disagrees with Obama on NSA".. he didn't started it.. like he hasn't been trying to make it more transparent? Do you wish he were more like bush before 9/11 and not give a shit what went down as long as something happened to give them a reason to bomb Iraq? Because that shit is not going to happen.

As for PBO's supporters.. we'll be working to get more republiCONS out of congress in 2014 and supporting PBO in signing bills like this one today...

The booya team defense is alienating a lot of people who otherwise might be more generous to Obama.

disappointed and critical of him. Race to the Top, the TPP, never bringing single payer health care to the table, letting the insurance companies write the ACA, proposing chained CPI to SS, prosecuting medical marijuana patients but not prosecuting bankers. The list goes on and on unfortunately. I don't care what they call me anymore. They have called me an Obama hater, a libertarian, a Paulbot, a racist. I really don't give a shit what they call me. I will continue to criticize this President and any democrat who caters to the rich.
