are accepted fact to most. But, he doesn't really need the US. We have dug ourselves (largely from the Bushies* misdeeds) into a hole of collective weakness on this and many fronts.

Don't feel too sorry for his people. His tactics may be antidemocratic, but he definitely has the consent of the people to govern.
