In hopes of a good soup. Can a question be a parable?

You always want to make good soup. You hunt far and wide for the best ingredients, you prepare them with care. You season, stir, and taste. The soup simmers and the aroma is tantalizing. The table is set and the soup is served. And then you find a turd in the soup bowl. No one knows how it got there, but there it is none the less. So the question is, knowing how good the soup must be, do you eat the turd?

Fire the cook and go out to eat. I think that's a stupid parable, sorry. MADem Aug 2013 #1
If there's a turd in the soup, it wasn't "prepared with care". FAIL. n/t winter is coming Aug 2013 #2

Who hung their ass over the steaming pot and shit in it? How could "the soup" be neglected to allow someone to do that?

A turd in hot pot of soup would break down and become gravy.

It's just a lousy "parable" and it doesn't make any sense.

If this is supposed to be "profound" in some way, or illustrate some dramatic lesson, I'm not feeling it. Sorry.

It's just disgusting.
