There is a poll on Politix to ask if you listen to Rush Limbaugh. If anyone is interested, here is the link:

The current results are interesting.

(25,487 posts)There is absolutely nothing interesting about the results of any self-selected poll, especially online ones.
All randomness for the pool goes out the window whenever people decide to go answer a poll. You get a result showing the totals of all the people who are interested in the subject enough to answer, with a large percentage of votes simply repeat answers that stuff the ballot box.
There is nothing of value to be taken from ANY online poll. Nothing.
Now... to the point of your OP. You are trying to drive clicks to your site. This is a form of spam, and someone will come along shortly to judge you.

(460 posts)Scheming,
Politix is NOT my site. This is NOT spam, and I am not a troll. The reason I posted the link is to give everyone a chance to vote and let the world know just how irrelevant Limbaugh is. If you don't want to vote, don't. But please don't call me names, accuse me of things that I didn't do, and attack me. I would not do these things to you.

(460 posts)Your values may be different than mine, but when some one says that I am lying, I take it as an attack. I am not a liar, I was not lying, and the pole is interesting. Most of us will enjoy watching how many people no longer listen to Limbaugh. The reasoning behind some of the no votes should also be interesting to read. As to the results not being valid, very few polls are valid. Even when it is a random sample, the questions can be posed in such a manner as to skew the results. The person or organization taking the poll must be trusted to be accurate, and honest, in counting the answers. When it is taken, where it is taken, and the methods used are also all suspect. Believe in polls if you want to. I take all poll results with a healthy dose of skepticism.

(42,744 posts)Any poll that shows the latest results before you cast your vote is counterproductive IMO.
But for the record, OxyRush is a sleazy, spineless POS.
