Remember when we collectively cringed when Dubya stammered around the stage in one of his endless “evildoer” post 9-11 speeches, asking postal workers and lobster men pulling their pots to watch for al Qaeda, because . . . .they’re everywhere . . . .
In our super-surveillance society, with it’s drone strikes and elimination of any privacy right, our once-mighty outrage over TIA (total information awareness) Human Identification at a Distance (HumanID), and EELD (Evidence Extraction and Link Discovery) seem quaint today.
Our government is watching us, Truthseekers, in ways never imagined before.
Enter PRISM, the clandestine mass electronic surveillance data mining program operated by the United States National Security Agency which Snowden’s document dump described.
They collect oceans of data on us – without warrants – and get away with it because 1) Obama is no Raisin Brain, and 2) they’ve had over a decade to refine and perfect their Orwellian methods and technology.
Despite the President’s assurances that only “meta-data” is being collected and that our government really isn’t collecting information about the communications between unsuspecting innocent Americans, there is evidence that the NSA has collected billions of megabytes of data on every-day citizens, and can then potentially sift through these communications – without warrants – any time they deal there is a possible undefined, ill-described “threat.”
See how that works? If everything could be a threat, and any threat authorizes a warantless search, then all data collected by anybody is subject to search. Talk about doubleplus ungood newspeak, Truthseekers.

Trust Google? The National Security Agency, which routinely collects its data, does.After all, it’s one of the companies from which Washington apparently routinely pulls data about what Americans are reading, doing, seeing, researching, hunting and contemplating.
So an entrepreneur says he has started an alternative service, which offers encryption services to keep your details, well, your details. Out of Google’s files. And away from the NSA.
The website is called Zeekly.com and founder Jeffrey Sisk explains it doesn’t retain search history, and also runs on 2048-bit SSL encryption to keep private what Internet users don’t want public.
On his blog, he explains that there are a number of steps a consumer can take to make the options for the government to access personal information a lot harder.
One of those is an encrypted search function.
“Like millions of Americans, I was frustrated when The Guardian broke the story on June 6th that the NSA has a top secret program called Prism that collects personal data on American citizens from all of the most well known and trusted technology companies. This included tech giants such as Google, Yahoo, Microsoft/Bing, Facebook, Youtube & Twitter,” he said.
