(34,008 posts)After nearly 5 years without cats, I'm having lots of fun watching them become best friends. My favorite so far was discovering them shortly after the hissing stopped, when the growling was still going on, late at night curled up together on top of a kitty castle that was barely large enough for one of them.
Looking forward to years before the "after" photo.

(1,408 posts)And they are a couple of good looking cats. From what I can tell from behind anyway.
It's amazing how animals pair up with each other. Sometimes even different species.
My wife and I have rescued a few pairs over the years, and always made sure that they went to their forever home together.
A couple of times we went to rescue some cats from a situation and one of the cats had died and the other wouldn't leave it's friend, even to the point of starving and dehydration. So your post brought more than one or two(good memories) tears.
Thanks for posting the pic.
