He ran into a brick wall. It seemed to be a well-protected tradition.

2. It's revolting, but it's been going on for over a thousand years. I truly think the only thing that

will cut down on the slaughter is the eventual poisoning of the islanders by the whales themselves (they are full of toxins.)

3. The government has passed a law requiring permits to kill these beings.

The Faroe Health Dept. knows eating these creatures is toxic and is trying to stop the barbarism, not out of concern for the whales, but for the idiots who kill and eat them.
