Kaitlyn Hunt could be heading back to jail for violations including intimate contact with victim

VERO BEACH — Prosecutors contend Kaitlyn Hunt has repeatedly violated a pretrial order to have no contact with the victim in her teen-sex case — violations that could put Hunt back in jail, court records show.

The violations include secret meetings with “intimate physical contact” as recently as two weeks ago, according to a court motion filed by the State Attorney’s Office Thursday morning.

Hunt is facing trial and had been jailed on two felony charges of lewd and lascivious battery on the girl, who was 14 when Hunt was 18 and both were students at Sebastian River High School last year.

The new motion states Hunt has been in almost daily contact with the girl using an iPod, through Facebook and 20,000 text messages. It says that Hunt put an iPod in the girl’s locker at the high school on March 1, Hunt’s last day there, and over a period of several months used the iPod to contact the girl.

According to the article if this is true she could be up for more felony charges. She should abide by the judges instructions to stay away.

Getting a sweetheart deal, then firing their lawyer to represent themselves and blaming their actions on some chemical they drank in the water springs to mind. Did not go down well with the judge.

but then I read the article and will expand my comment to say she is stupid and a nasty bit of work for blaming her girlfriend for her own stupidity:

In May, Hunt learned the younger girl told her mother they had been in contact through a third person, a friend of the defendant.

That led to Hunt angrily texting the younger girl, “You’re stupid ... You want me to go to jail ... God knows what you’ll do when pressured in court.”

And if her mother was actually bat-shit crazy enough to contact the 15 year old she should also be charged.

State Attorney clarifies Kaitlyn Hunt’s plea deal in light of alleged violations

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — State Attorney Bruce Colton said Thursday that the plea deal offered to now-19-year-old Sebastian River High School graduate Kaitlyn Hunt was offered in July – not the day before his office filed a notice of violation of her pre-trial release conditions.

The confusion stemmed from a court hearing held on Wednesday, during which the formalized, written version of the plea deal was presented – a day before Hunt was put on notice for communicating with her now-ex-girlfriend.

Colton said his office wanted on record the plea deal offered back in July. Having it as part of the record would prevent Hunt from filing an appeal – if later convicted on sex charges – based on her not having been notified of the plea deal.

Hunt declined the plea deal in July, Colton said.

Her mother's actions are deplorable. Plus Kaitlyn telling the victim to lie? Yeah, that sounds like jail time is in order. Frankly, reading what she said to the victim, it appears that Kaitlyn is quite manipulative.

It's probably a good thing she turned down the plea deal, she couldn't have followed it. She didn't listen to two judges telling her to stay away from the victim and the plea deal had the same stipulations.

Kaitlyn Hunt Update: Plea deal revoked for Fla. teen charged over same-sex underage relationship, report says

Prosecutors withdrew a plea deal Monday for Kaitlyn Hunt, the Florida teen charged over a same-sex relationship with an underage classmate, NBC affiliate WPTV reports.

Hunt's attorney, Charles Sullivan, reportedly told the station the plea deal, which would have kept the 19-year-old out of jail, was withdrew due to an alleged violation of court orders.

Prosecutors said last week that Hunt contacted the alleged victim in the case almost daily since March 1, a violation that could put her back in jail, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

According to the paper, court documents say Hunt and the girl had contact through nearly 20,000 test messages and Facebook.

NBC affiliate WPTV reported the state attorney's office says Hunt sent sexually explicit photos, a video and two continued to secretly meet. The station reported Hunt's mother also texted the alleged victim and urged her to delete "everything" so no one would find out the girl and Hunt had spoken.

A hearing has reportedly been scheduled for Tuesday afternoon and a judge will decide then whether the teen will be sent back to jail because of the alleged violations.

I cannot believe the mother telling the victim to delete the messages, to lie or even talking to her in the first place. No wonder Kaitlyn's violating the court orders!

There is a court order in place ordering no contact with the victim, Ms. Hunt. I suggest you obey it for your own sake.
