I feel for the people of Egypt and fear the situation is devolving

to a tipping point. I hope I am wrong, but it seems to be speeding towards a protracted and widespread armed conflict.

The police are authorized to use deadly force and a Day of Anger is planned for Friday. From bad to worse.

or nobody will show up to the march because they're all either taking care of their wounds or mourning their brethren, or all hell will break loose.

I give all of those pretty even odds, actually.
