Newspapers say their stories about same-sex marriage disappear from Facebook

The (Pottstown, Pa.) Mercury says its stories about same-sex marriage keep disappearing from its Facebook page.

Other newspapers, including the Los Angeles Daily News and other Digital First Media-affiliated papers in the Philadelphia region, reported similar problems, Frank Otto writes. Mercury Online Editor Eileen Faust made a video of her posts disappearing.

The disappearances “didn’t fall on one side of the issue or the other,” Otto writes.
