Let's see, a military coup installed government engaging in a brutal crackdown leaving hundreds dead
Gee, I don't think anyone--anyone--ever saw that one coming.
Seriously, is there anyone who honestly didn't see this coming when the Egyptian military took over?
This totally apart from any questions regarding concerns about the Muslim Brotherhood, which are very legitimate but very much beside the point at this time.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, ever good comes out of a military coup against a democratically elected government.
