Based on the recent NSA revelations the professional left

isn't taking the heat. The DC bubble that the corporate Dems have been in for so long has shattered and they have only for themselves to blame. Of course they will try to blame the "professional left". But that dog isn't hunting anymore....

As a member of the professional left though, it will be my duty to pick up the pieces and try to move the country in a progressive, leftist manner. For now, let the Center right Dems cry foul but in reality we know that the real transgressions against our citizens happened well before the revelations.

that somehow worship Ron Paul and Greenwald. No idea what a lefty libertarian looks like...they love social medicine one day, then hate it the next day? Absolute lunacy, but as you point out the mainstream has run out of talking points. They are now running on vaporware.

I am to the left of most Democrats on social issues. I am to the right of 98 percent of the population on my interpretation of the Constitution.

Well, that's quite some statement "Rex".
It's quite neat how you bowtie the issue.
Tucker Carlson couldn't do better.
Congrats.

He actually had the courage to be against the Iraq war before, during, and after. Never wavered.

Or do you operate a media blog?

Otherwise, you, a poster on DU, are not nor have never been a member of the "Professional Left".

They did the same thing with his father.

To listen to the Beltway we went from Nixon to Carter to Reagan to Clinton to Obama with nothing in between.

Hell,...Ford would have been forgotten if he hadn't been clumsy.
