Compared to the rest of them, he seems downright moderate and reasonable. He isn't moderate at all, he just plays one on TV. He's the only one of them who could possibly beat Hillary.

The Repubbies gots only fear & hate, and it's benighted anti-american wanker-champs, to run with...a sorry state of affairs. Maybe they will revert to the Toe-tapping-public-toilet, diaper-sex-with-hookers approach. After all, that kind of "Republicon-values' ejaculation earned a standing-ovation from all the Repubbie Senators.

Keep digging, Repubbies America is grateful

Don't worry. The thought of Hillary Clinton as Prez drives the right wild! But she worries me too. Berkeley economist Brad DeLong wrote on his website after working in The White House "Don't ever let Hillary get into a decision-making capacity at the White House. She doesn't listen to anybody!"

while claiming "Royal" status with your screen name. No wonder RepubliWankers have lost the respect of the American people.

She's not just a moderate, she is an insider who won't change a single thing about how Washington operates. The 1% will be safe and protected another 8 years.

threat of governmental spying on the citizenry, I hereby challenge them to consider those same powers in the hands of a President Santorum or President Palin.

Here's the sad truth: were the afore-mentioned hypothetical to become reality, we would all be occupying the same internment camps together. Their support of the NSA and disavowal of Snowden and Greenwald will not innoculate them any further than those of us who have already spoken out against the NSA abuses.

Which party will have the government decide who has access to freedom of press for the sole purpose of circumventing the judicial process with respect to free speech?

Which party will allow corporations exclusive access to negotiate trade deals that are internationally binding and outside of our judicial jurisdiction?

Which party will build a military/intelligence infrastructure at cold war levels to fight a foe that has many thousands of less tanks and planes, millions of less soldiers than our cold war foe?

What party will negotiate cuts in Social Security while taxes on the upper income are historically low?

Which party will refuse to investigate the perpetrators of the greatest economic debacle in our lifetime in fear that prosecution could bring down our economy?

Which party has all but ignored organized labor except in election years?

Which party continues to remotely kill people of all ages and gender, on foreign soil, using intelligence based on profiling, and creating future generations of sworn enemies?

This is not party bashing. This is truth. There is a huge difference.

You are asking me to fear Republicans. Let me clue you in. Everybody with a sound mind fears Republicans. Don't be shocked when I declare that my fear of Democrats is approaching the same level as well.

Scare tactics become increasing pointless when all options are equally frightening.

This is the exact kind of thinking that got us W. in the first place. The idea that Gore and Bush were the same was/is insane.

The exact same thing applies for whoever ends up being the nominees in 2016. One option will be better than the other. Even if it is not a great option it will still be better than the alternative.

Is there any doubt in your mind that Al Gore would have been a much better President than G.W. Bush? If not then you need to drop this argument and realize that you are just falling into the same trap as others did in 2000.

I say again, all options are not equally frightening.

Now that the Cons have lost on Gay rights, (and only some state battles are left to win) isn't it possible for Rick to put those insane comments behind him and run as a "common sense Conservative"?

I know people think Rand Paul or Chris Christie will end up being the nominee but I am not so sure. The (R)s like to nominate the guy who came in second last time. I don't see why they will not fall back into this pattern in 2016.
