But it's not. This is supposed to be a forum for the discussion of politics, issues and current events. It's one thing to have the occasional bit of humor or cute pics, but this forum is really being diluted by the sheer number of frivolous posts that are pushing worthy discussions right off the page. Sorry, but I'm fed up with it. There are scores of forums and groups at DU to serve the various wants and needs of folks here. Use them, please.

said occasional posts about "kittehs" would be acceptable; dramatic relief, I guess.

I was looking at it and thinking, lovely bride, young couple, Corpsman, E-3, not a lotta money to be starting out, young love, how sweet....and then I see that the minister should have pulled that finger!

Photoshop is in order!

I suspect a few of them benefited from a bit of processing after the snap, but really fun imagery...

As a normal shot, it doesn't make sense in my mind. Someone explain it please?

more accurately the photographer was not as attentive (to a lot of things) as s/he should have been. I hope this wasn't a professional shot - or if it was theoretically professional she didn't pay much.

But yes, as to the appendage portion of the ruin - photoshop can fix that.
