It will be said to be a campaign ad for Hillary by the right-wing, and they won't be totally wrong.
A TV-miniseries will make shit up for "artistic license" or to "juice it up."
Besides, we don't even *KNOW* yet whether Hillary is going to run for President in 2016 or not, so why jump the gun?

(24,096 posts)I don't quite get what the big controversy is about this - unless it's another one of those GOP made up non story/scandals - that would explain it all.

(5,279 posts)Because it is cable news and we can count on them to go ape shit if they think someone is going to say anything of substance. Which won't happen, because it was proposed by cable news.
Jormungand, the snake that eats itself exists, it's electronic now though

(21,024 posts)and stupid idea were synonyms. Speaking of which, maybe they could do a mini-series on the Paul family (think aqua Buddha,) and Jeb Bush and the BFEE. In the interest of fairness, all the Gopper wannabees should get a turn in the barrel.

(12,287 posts)we don't even know if she is running. I myself want to see the Hillary series ...I enjoyed her book as well. I want to watch it for the information and find her to be a dynamic woman...a leader she has become and I'm interested in her story.

(39,343 posts)Either the piece portrays her with negative characteristics and people's view of her is affected, or if its too shiny, people will think she's a phony.
Isn't this the type of thing that led to Citizens United, a movie about Hillary?

(193 posts)That only makes sense if you buy the rightwing nonsense that a hillary documentary would somehow be made just to benefit her politically. And you would only buy that if you were a teabagger. Are you one?

(3,065 posts)Her accomplishments thus far have been worthy of a movie.
An accomplished attorney, First Lady of the United States, United States Senator from New York, and U.S. Secretary of State. And didn't she run for POTUS a while back?
I think it would be an interesting documentary.
The GOP would prefer we just sit back and watch Honey Boo Boo.
