been trying to do everyting they can to education the pubic. I see the website down there at the bottom of the bag. They opened that website up right after I502 passed.

They are giving out 1,000 snack-sized bags of Doritos...

.........yet there are 220,000+ people expected over the 3-day event.

(Actually, they are using it as a way to get people to visit their "Marijwhatnow?" web site, which explains the new laws and what is and isn't allowed. Never let it be said that the SPD doesn't have a sense of humor...well, unless you're a mostly-deaf native woodcarver walking away when a cop yells for you to stop on a noisy, crowded street. Then they'll shoot you in the back a few times if you delay more than 3 or 4 seconds.)

...coming from a police department with a somewhat tarnished record. Its a great gesture, and a great way to go about publishing the police policy on weed to avoid "misunderstandings". Now if Oregon would just get on with it and follow their lead...
