The GOP wants to ensure that Fox carries all of their primary debates

After the 10th or so debate they stop being news, theirs or ours.

By cutting out CNN and Telemundo they do two things. They can show their hardcore right wing base they are "standing up" to the liberal media. And two the set the precedence of limiting news organizations from their events to leverage against Fox. Should Fox decide not to air all 2 hours of the third night of the debate held at the Charleston, SC fire department vehicle parts warehouse they can point to some movie Fox Studios has produced and threaten to declare them the liberal media and start limiting access.
