Finding common ground. If you promise not to use the NSA scandal

to:

1. Insist that Democrats = Republicans

2. Make hundreds of "Fuck Obama" or "Fuck democrats" threads

Then I think you'll find that the Snowden divide on DU will simply disappear.

You seem to be accusing them of using fallacious logic. Seems to me that you're saying people only argue against Snowden because of an unrelated situation.

of opinion with regard to Snowden, or even with regard to Obama's/Congress's handling of the NSA, without accusing each other of not being Democrats, not being progressives, or otherwise resorting to personal insults.

but my interpretation of the OP is that those who don't agree with Snowden, and argue against him on DU, do so because other posters claim the Democrats = the Republicans and President Obama is a bad person.
