No Modern Military Aircraft At Local Air Show Due To Sequestration.

Our local air show had NO modern military aircraft this year. Only featured old WWI aircraft from various preservation wings. The only B-29 "FIFI" out of an original 8000 left flying Also featured an Avenger and B-24. The air show was shorter than last year and had an estimated 1/3 less aircraft on display than last year.

When the announcer noted the absence of US military I heard on spectator say "thanks Obamao". Oddly it was the GOP that actually was responsible. Yet the reality reflects Obama's belief that the GOP would NOT cut the military in the bad deal that ensued.

The lack of the US military shows how much military spending dominates our country.

1. When they recommission "FiFi" into the USAF, then I'll start worrying about military spending cuts.

We built 8,000 B-29s? Cheezits, we can't even afford to put a couple hundred new fighters into the air at today's prices.
