Paul Mosher destroyed a house and nearly a life.

In July 2012, Mosher drove drunk, crashed into five parked cars, hit a curb and launched his 2009 Chevy Trailblazer into the house where Brooke Sutton was sleeping.

Mosher's SUV barreled into Sutton's bed, pushing her and her sleeping chihuahua into the backyard.

There, paramedics found Sutton alive but with multiple injuries — a broken shoulder, fractured ribs, a crushed vertebrae and a shattered ankle. She was hospitalized for two weeks, was in a body cast for months and has been in rehabilitation ever since. On top of that, she now suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.

1. A total travesty

And this loser admits that even after he was given a huge break by the judge, he's continued to drink. Slap his ass behind bars before he finally succeeds in killing someone. His poor victim will suffer for her lifetime. OTOH, I have NO sympathy for people who drive drunk.

Get behind the wheel plastered, destroy a woman's house, 5 cars, and leave a victim with crippling injuries? Eh, things happen.

I imbibe in neither but even I can see that the way crime and punishment is determined in this country is ridiculously stupid. Beyond stupid. Nothing about the way "justice" is administered in this country makes sense anymore.
