you have nothing to fear

but to be on the safe side, avoid being a journalist who exposes something powerful people don't want exposed. Also, don't join, or in any way support Greenpeace or other environmental groups. Don't join or support groups like OWS. Don't actively oppose Monsanto or the Keystone pipeline.

It's moribund.

I'm hoping they will soon put out a list of approved organizations so I know I'm not gonna get in trouble if I join something. You just can't be too careful.

Sad that your OP seems to be accurate by what I'm learning.
Just don't add DU to that list!

legislation changed and work on the 2014 elections which will get you a more responsive Congress perhaps? I'm so sick of these handwringing and sighing threads where people just park with chattering teeth and no solutions or intentions of working towards solutions. Gotta plan? What are you doing besides ranting on an internet chatboard?

ideas to rectify a problem? To set up action steps attached to goals? A little cooperation would go just as far as a little listening would too. Too much talking past each other.

Perhaps you should have asked that question before insinuating the OP was an armchair quarterback.
