Isn't that what Viagra, Cialis and the other prescription ones are for?
And what about these fake weight loss pills. Caffeine, questionable shit, and advertised everywhere. I don't know anyone who ever took them and lost weight.
An ass for every seat I guess.
All over XM and Sirius radio, on TV jesus how do they get away with it?

(20,600 posts)one of those items, but not the weight loss pills. The prescription ones are very expensive, and so there are natural pills that are supposed to do the same thing, and they are a lot cheaper. It coudn't hurt to try them, and see if they worked I guess is what I am saying.

(20,600 posts)sell is not my cup of tea. I'm sure there are alternative medicine concoctions that can do the job that cost pennies compared to the rip off prices that those big pharma companies sell.

(16,820 posts)Some of those pills on tv are said to do the same thing, but others claim to make the penis grow. The penis-growing pill scam has been going on for ages, but there are still gullible and desperate guys out there who want to believe.

(2,899 posts)She would order weight loss pills from ads she found in the back of magazines, and the normally stupid look on her face would change to sheer joy as she told me the pills would make her lose tons of weight - while she slept.
She was a avid reader of all her junk mail, a fan of Jimmy Swaggart, very obese, Mormon, greedy and gullible. She also used to sit on her little dog.
One day after carefully going through her junk mail she announced she had won a car, and had the paper work to prove it. Then there was the boat she told her husband they won.....and he believed her. I really kidded him about it for ages.
PS; this woman never raised my husband... thank goodness.

(10,607 posts)I took the damn pills religiously for a month, and then measured to see if they really worked.
Nope. Still just five foot eight. And I *so* wanted to be taller.
(Not to mention the fact that the damn things swelled up my penis like you would not believe. They really should warn people about side effects like that!)
