I'm lovin' these reports about GOP reps getting grilled at their Town Hall meetings over ACA!

Hah! These swaggering bozos thought they'd be just A-OK with another round of town halls a la 2010...looks like they are getting more than they bargained for!

Was there some Dem planning around this or are people just plain pissed because they are looking forward to the ACA getting implemented further in 2014?

I saw a video where one woman dropped the F bomb at her congressman and he got all huffy and she said "Well, you'd better get used to it!" I laughed out loud! That was GOOD!

Betcha lots of districts are gonna start having their Town Hall Meetings "cancelled til future notice" soon!

Bastids. Serves them right!

remember when they sent their tea party asshole minions to fuck with Democratic Reps and Senators when they held their town hall meetings. I remember being at one in Tacoma and also at one in White Fish, Montana both in 2009, where those tea party shit heads were just awful!

have learned what benefits are available in this law and they're saying "Hold on a minute! This is good!"

I'm sure that is the GOP's biggest nightmare...

Republicans dodging town halls, upsetting the professional 'base'

by HunterFollow

It would appear that Republicans are not quite as eager to hold "town halls" as they once were, back during Insanity Summer '09. Not too surprising, as very few politicians enjoy being yelled at by crazy people and the net result of Insanity Summer was to turn the town hall format from something always-challenging to a national running joke, but the reaction of the professional crazy people is pretty interesting:

“The reason 2009 was so successful for the grass roots was because the politicians never saw it coming,” said Jennifer Stefano, the state director for the Pennsylvania chapter of Americans for Prosperity, a Tea Party group. “Now they know. And they are terrified.”

Translation: We had big plans to send crazy people to say crazy things yet-a-freaking-gain, but now that all but the most hardcore congressional crackpots are dodging the events because they do not want to be seen with us, that blows our entire marketing strategy out of the water.
